Description

Come with us as we set sail to visit the cemeteries to pay our respects to all those who gave their lives during both world wars. We will go from there to Ypres where you will have some free time to grab a bite to eat before attending the last post at the Menin Gate.

Tyne Cot Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery and Memorial to the Missing is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission burial ground for the dead of the First World War in the Ypres Salient on the Western Front. It is the largest cemetery for Commonwealth forces in the world, for any war.
Langemark is a village in the Belgian province of West-Flanders, and a deelgemeente of the municipality of Langemark-Poelkapelle. The village has about 5,000 inhabitants. Besides the village center, there are also three smaller hamlets on the territory, Madonna, Bikschote and Saint-Julien/Sint-Juliaan.
Ypres (leper), is a town in the Belgian province of West Flanders. It’s surrounded by the Ypres Salient battlefields, where many cemeteries, memorials and war museums honor the battles that unfolded in this area during World War I. After being destroyed in the war, many important buildings were carefully reconstructed, including Gothic-style Sint-Maartenskathedraal (St. Martin’s Cathedral) and its soaring spire.
